Add some liquid detergent to the grass stain and scrub gently to avoid ruining the garment, but firmly to get deeper into the stain. Continue scrubbing for several minutes, then allow the garment to sit for about 10 – 15 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
After rinsing, check to see if the stain is gone. If the stain is not fainter or completely removed, you can repeat the process with water and laundry detergent until it’s banished.
Removing with Hydrogen Peroxide and Dish Soap
Mix some amount of hydrogen peroxide with some drops of dish soap. Soak the stain, leave the garment for at least 30 minutes, then brush and rinse with cold water. You can add some more detergent and safely repeat the process. This method should completely remove the grass stain or leave the tiniest shade of the stain.
Rubbing alcohol
Safely blot the stained area with rubbing alcohol, let the garment air dry, and then rinse with cool water. Add some detergent and massage it gently but firmly, using a toothbrush. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. This technique can remove much of the grass stain but might leave a faint yellowish spot behind.
Removing with Vinegar
Mix white vinegar with warm water in a ratio of 50:50. Saturate the grass stain properly to allow deep penetration of the vinegar. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes, scrub, and rinse with cold water. Avoid using fruit vinegar to treat the stain.
Once you’re done with vinegar, repeat the steps (scrub, sit, rinse) with the laundry detergent. Vinegar is one of the most effective techniques that can completely remove grass stains from a garment.
